2009. USA. Directed by Lena Dunham. Before Girls and Tiny Furniture there was Creative Nonfiction, a funny and formally ambitious metafictional account about writing and non-romance at a liberal arts school. Dunham, a 2009 New Face, stars. 59 min.
2012. USA. Directed by Jillian Mayer, Lucas Leyva. The singularity, viral video, and K-pop collide in Miami artist and filmmakers Mayer and Leyva’s mind-expanding short. 13 min.
2004. USA. Directed by Ryan Fleck, Anna Boden. The short that led to the film Half-Nelson, Gowanus, Brooklyn is a jewel of a film detailing a young girl’s concerned investigation into her teacher’s secret life. 19 min.
The Black Balloon
2008. USA. Directed by Benny Safdie, Joshua Safdie. A lost black balloon purposefully bobs and weaves throughout New York City in this warm look at the idiosyncracies of New York life. 22 min.
