Memorial Day starts with a bang at The Aldrich! Join us to celebrate the holiday and tour the Museum’s 50th Anniversary series of exhibitions, highlighting the relationship between the era in which The Aldrich was founded and our current cultural landscape. Don’t miss this fun-filled day, jam packed with history and star-spangled entertainment, featuring FREE Museum admission, activities, food truck, and more! Members: arrive before 11 am for the parade and stay for the festivities! Not a member yet? Join today to take advantage of this special perk!

Members Only! RSVP for the Party on the Porch
View the Memorial Day Parade from the porch of Old Hundred on Main Street. Parking at the Museum is limited and closes at 10:45 am due to the parade. RSVP on-line, email Maureen Shanahan,, or call 203.438.4519, during regular Museum hours.

1 to 3 pm
Food Trucks
Explore the exhibition, participate in family activities, and purchase lunch from the Melt Mobile, Fairfield County’s favorite food truck, to enjoy on the grounds.

1 to 3 pm
Family Fun
Join in outdoor games on the Museum’s campus, and make and decorate your own red, white, and blue holiday-inspired artwork in the Education Center.

The Museum is open from 12 noon to 5 pm; admission is FREE all day.
