Film and Design: An Interdisciplinary Inquiry

Introduced by Constantin Boym, Chair, Industrial Design
“The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place: from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider's web.” —Pablo Picasso
Join the School of Design this February to screen a collection of films that inspire us to imagine, explore, discover, reflect, and evolve. From fiction to documentary, experimental to cult classic, the series transcends time, defies discipline and bridges experience with craft. Each film captures and presents life, the realm from which we draw, propose, and test our ideas as makers and designers in the world.
Curated by Chelsea Limbird, Visiting Assistant Professor, Interior Design
