Mid-Manhattan Library's Art and Picture Collections present PINKPURPLE an exhibition of paintings by artist Tamara Gonzales. Inspired by her PINKPURPLE tumblr blog, launched in conjunction with her site-specific installation at Mid-Manhattan Library’s Corner Room, Gonzales has created vinyl window hangings that incorporate collage and elements from her unique technique of spray painting through found lace, tablecloths and doilies. The artist interested in how digital social media can inform art making, invites the public to browse, post, and ask her questions online at pinkpurplefeeder.tumblr.com

Please join us on Tuesday March 5th at 6:30pm inside the Corner Room for a discussion, about altars, between artist Tamara Gonzales and senior art librarian Arezoo Moseni. The event is part of What Inspires Artists series event.

Writer and artist Sharon Butler joins Tamara Gonzales for An Artist Dialogue series event on Saturday May 4 at 2:30pm inside the Corner Room.

Art in the Corner Room exhibition series is curated by Arezoo Moseni.
